Rapid Malaria Test

The Rapid Malaria Test is a rapid lateral flow chromatographic immunoassay for the detection and differentiation of malarial P. falciparum-specific histidine-rich protein-2 (Pf HRP-II), malaria-specific pLDH (Plasmodium lactate dehydrogenase). Plasmodium species (Pan), malarial P. vivax-specific lactate dehydrogenase (Pv-LDH), and antibodies including IgG, IgM, and IgA against P. falciparum (Pf) and P. vivax (Pv), in samples of human blood as an aid in the diagnosis of malaria infection.
