MEDIA KIT FOR VIRUSES (CTM) + SWAB

The CTM kits [NBFLOCK SWAB APPLICATOR and Clinical Virus Transport Medium (CTM)] are intended for the collection and transport of clinical specimens, including viruses, chlamydia, mycoplasma, or ureaplasma from the collection site to the testing laboratory. Each CTM kit provides a virus and bacteria collection device and a transport medium vial for transporting organisms. Proper collection of patient specimens is extremely critical to successful isolation and identification of infectious organisms. CTM medium can be processed using standard clinical laboratory operating procedures to preserve and transport viruses, chlamydia, mycoplasma, and ureaplasma .   CTM contains Amphotericin B and Vancomycin (Antibiotics / Antifungal) bovine serum albumin, sucrose, sodium bicarbonate, colistin, Hank's balanced salts, Gelatin,, L-cysteine, L-Glutamic Acid, Phenol red.
